The owner, Helen Marakis, opened this creative shop in 2015 when she returned to Naxos, her hometown, after living for 30 years in New York. She's the inspiration force, the coordinator and initiator of all the collections.

Her love for her native island, for nature, for decoration and creation, as well as her knowledge and experience in New York show up in the gallery, offering a perfect balance between a classic timeless style and a fresh contemporary look.

Just beside the gallery, there is another shop you should visit, where Tasia, Helen's sister, offers tasty organic products and beautiful traditional weavings.

L-EcoArt Gallery is directly related and connected with ELaiolithos Luxury Retreat, the brand new hotel Helen Marakis created in Moni, the village of the weavers. All decorative pieces in every room of ELaiolithos are originated from the gallery.
