NiesenAbstractOverlooking Lake Thun, 2,362 m (7,749 ft) above the sea, this summit of the Bernese Prealps can be reached by a funicular. Seen from the north, the Niesen is a nearly perfect pyramid and has been the subject of many paintings by Paul Klee.
