Hongrin DrainAbstractThis is not a mole. It's the drain of the lake of Hongrin, located at 4,177 ft altitude between Rochers-de-Naye and Col des Mosses (Mosses Pass). This valve can empty the lake in a short time, causing a horizontal water-jet 1,148 ft long at 224 mph (Geneva Jet d'Eau: 459 ft high).
