At the bottom of Kalomenopoulou Street stands the Vlysidis house, which would be truly superb if renovated. Grandeur and decadence are intimately intertwined in Ermoupoli... On our left, the stairs climb up to Evangelistria Catholic Cathedral, built in 1829 in Italian style.
