St John Church (2)AbstractThis Gothic church was built in the 13th century on the site of a Romanesque church that probably dates back to the 11th century. It has undergone many transformations over the centuries and, at the Reformation, it became a Protestant church. Completely renovated from 1983 to 1990 with the addition of a concert stage, it hosts the annual "Bachfest", a renowned international Bach festival.
