Simplon Road (Ramserna)
The Simplon pass, at an altitude of 2,006 m, connects Brig, in the Upper Valais, to Domodossola, in Italy. Open all year round, it is, along with the Great St Bernard, the only mountain pass linking the Valais to Italy.
