Church Square (2)AbstractThe church of Saints Peter and Paul in Eguisheim was once a Romanesque basilica with three naves and a tower, but it fell into disrepair to the point where, in 1787, part of it collapsed during a church service. It was therefore largely demolished and rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century and only the tower and some parts of the old church were preserved.
