Church of Saint Leonard

Perched on a small hill, the church of Saint-Léonard was built in a neo-Gothic style in the late 19th century to replace the old church of Sonvillaz located a little further up. It is a very simple Catholic church, without excessive gilding, featuring beautiful stained glass windows. It is a good starting point for exploring the old village, which is ignored by tourists who think that Saint-Léonard's only attraction is its famous underground lake.
