Saint-Léger Church

Transformed many times over the centuries, the church in Basse-Nendaz was originally a simple chapel dedicated to Saint Léger and built in the late 9th or early 10th century. This chapel remained buried under the rubble of successive buildings for centuries, but its remains were discovered in 1967 and now form the crypt of the current church.
