Pyramids of Euseigne (2)AbstractThe pyramids were formed by the degradation of moraines from the ice ages. Thanks to their size and weight, the stones that crown them act as protective caps against erosion for these rock formations, which were shaped over the millennia following the last ice age, when the glaciers that had invaded the valleys 10,000 to 80,000 years ago receded.
