Pyramids of Euseigne (3)AbstractThe vibrations from road traffic just below the pyramids obviously risked destabilising and causing these fragile ‘fairy chimneys’ to collapse. A 120-metre-long tunnel was dug with great care a short distance away from the site, which has been pedestrianised and equipped with picnic tables and large educational panels presenting the fauna of the Alps.
