One of the two ports of Amorgos (the second, Aigiali, is north of the island), at the bottom of a bay sheltered from the north wind. There are actually 3 small villages, Katapola (the port, on the south shore), Rachidi (at the bottom of the bay) and Xilokeratidi (on the north shore).
Katapola
Katapola is mainly served by the Small Cyclades line, departing from Naxos. In May 2025, we created a virtual stroll around the bay that will make you want to discover Katapola and the other villages.
