Eigerwand Train StopAbstractAt 2,864 m (9,396 ft) over sea, on the Jungfraubahn line. An underground stop beneath the north face of the Eiger. Uphill trains stop for 5 minutes to allow passengers to observe the view through windows carved into the rock face, and a door is sometimes used to rescue alpinists.
