Graubünden alpine shelter (19th c.?)AbstractThis large shelter was a "Schermen", an awning under which the animals sheltered in case of rain or snow and where they were milked when it was not possible outside. The building, which is partially open on the side, is perhaps older than the rest, as the "modern" stables appeared more recently.
