New Church of Saint-Sylve

The old Saint-Sylve church still exists but is relatively far from the village center (750m). A new church was built in the village in 1870, then replaced in 1962 by this striking wooden and stone building flanked by a bell tower of rare elegance. It is a Catholic place of worship that is a true work of art, designed by Valaisian architect André Perraudin (1915-2013).
