Fafleralp Hotel

It was in the 1950s, before the road was built, that Charlie Chaplin and his family went to this isolated hotel to recharge their batteries. In those days, you had to climb up there on a mule! These panoramas were shot in November 2024, the hotel was closed. It is only open from mid-January to mid-March and from mid-May to the end of October. During the summer season, you can get there by post bus, but in winter you have to walk from Blatten, 1 hour's walk down the valley.
