Place de la Plantaz (1)

Abstract

Once the site of traditional fairs, markets, military exercises and popular gatherings, this vast square now covers a large underground car park, the ideal place to park your car and set off to explore the old town of Sion. We are here at the south exit of the car park, with the old town on our right. The large building bordering the square is the Government Palace.
