Place de la Palud

Abstract

This picturesque square is the heart of Lausanne's historic area. Here you will find the fountain dominated by the statue of Justice, the animated carillon that recounts some of the highlights of the city's history, and the magnificent Town Hall building. Lined with cafés and shops, it is shaded in summer by a gigantic Swiss flag stretched over part of the square.
