GestelnburgAbstractTo tell the truth, there is not much left of this castle, which was built in the 12th century on a rocky ridge. It was known as ‘Castle of Châtillon’ back when the region was still French-speaking, and it was destroyed in 1384. It offers a fine view of the village and the valley, and the more adventurous can explore the Feschtiloch, a glacial cave that runs beneath the ruins (please note: sturdy footwear is essential).
